Over the past few weeks we haven been talking about our best memories of Halloween. Do you have any great Halloween memories?
Halloween is a bit different this year. We wanted to entertain our residents a little today and give them a little Halloween fun! Who doesn't love to monster mash?
(We do not own the rights to this music)
It's the Wacky Wednesday before Halloween. These people are wacky!!!
Today Sue made up a Halloween themed lunch for the heroes! Thanks Sue!
Every Halloween we have a Wood Haven Trick or Treat. Our residents LOVE seeing all of the children in costumes. A lot of our heroes bring their little ones in costumes. This year is so different with COVID. We thought of many different options, but nothing was safe enough that allowed our residents to see children in costumes. We decided we would invite all of our heroes to have their littles (children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, furbabies, etc) participate in a virtual/picture costume judging. All of our residents will be handed a packet with pictures to choose their favorites. Now we want you to choose. Like and comment - all count as votes. The one with the most is the winner and will get a prize! Voting ends on Nov 2nd. Winner will be announced once the online and picture votes have been combined.
Happy Wacky Wednesday!
Our 3 favorites are in! Combining the facebook votes and our resident votes, the winners are........ The Bunny, Colonel Sanders and The Penguin! All of the costumes looked great! We are hoping for a more normal Halloween next year! Congratulations Madison, Drake and Owen!
Ralph is out making new friends.
