"The Woodies team on West Palmer St never fails to exceed my expectations. Chris and Daniel make sure you understand your car's issues and provide clear options to remedy the problem. I have been a Woodies customer since the late 90's and this location has been my preferred location for almost a decade."

"As usual, it was simply a matter of dropping my car off and waiting for the phone call to come back and get it. I've gone to Woodie's now for about 5 years (I think) and It is so nice to not feel pressured into doing a repair or update that may or may not need doing. They're the best around."

"Figure if I leave a 5 star review I will get a response.....
Kevin,
First thank you for talking to me. As I stated, I am not satisfied with your response. As you said, YOU KNOW FOR A FACT that you did not do anything wrong. How can I believe that? The vehicle is running fine. You said there was nothing in the oil pan? Seems very ironic. As soon as you dropped the pan, it worked fine. Tell me I am in left field? Your service technician stated you were going to have the master technician work on my vehicle after you messed up the valve cover change. Makes me concerned I had less than acceptable on my vehicle. And I did not say, but dang you gave me a quote for one thing and then charged me something else. You refunded me some money but not the total difference. I don't even want to go there....
I had to rent a vehicle due to your service shops continued issues. I will escalate this. As you stated over and over, what do you want me to do? Let's rephrase it, what would you do if you were in my position.
Please escalate this internally, or I will go externally.
Thank you,
Ed
To whom it may concern,
I have tried to get this message through but your website does not have an email address.
I put comments into two appointments that I made in order to get some feedback but have had no response. As I said I don't want to leave an on line negative review. Anyway, I have had my car into your Ballantyne shop for service. The biggest issue being replacement of valve cover. It did not go well. The technician did something wrong with the gasket and didn't put it on correctly. Took another day to repair, etc. Long story short, he also failed to replace the engine cover as well as did not put all the parts back together. Small simple stuff that DID NOT get corrected. After the valve cover was replaced a day later my engine light came on with low power mode. I took it back into your facility, the oil was then changed as well as "engine wash"? You kept the car again, told me it was corrected. Unfortunately, again I picked it up and that same day the light came on again.
I took the vehicle back a third time, at this time I am told it probably is another issue piston injector parts in the oil and it would take $2000 to fix. Told that there is NO WAY that my issues are related to the valve cover gasket change. But you did say you would drop the oil pan and verify that nothing was in the oil pan.
By this time it's another night and Saturday. Please note Prior to this Kevin and Sean both said hey we are doing everything possible to fix this and will take care of you. I am told Brandon will know everything about the vehicle as it is Saturday and he can inform you once we drop the oil pan.
Well I get the call that we dropped the oil pan but nothing was there. I asked him if the light was off. His reply I don't know. I asked if i can pick it up, he said I wouldn't drive it as it is a low oil pressure issue.
I in turn had to rent a car for the Thanksgiving weekend.... IT HAS NOW BEEN Almost a month with NO ISSUES and I have driven the car daily. In my opinion, there obviously was an issue during the valve cover change. Something was in the oil take up screen and WAS NOT conveyed to me. AS once the oil pan was dropped the issue has disappeared. I am looking for Woodies to make sure I don't have some issue six months or so down the road related to this. Your group was quick to jump at a Service Bulletin from Cadillac and put all your eggs in that basket. I brought my car to you as you advertise that you don't have to take the car back to the dealer..... I find that difficult to believe after all of this. Additionally, i brought the vehicle in for brakes vibrating... Well I was told hey it's your rear brakes including rotors... of course I have vibrations again.
So Frustrating,"

What does different colored car exhaust smoke indicate?
Black - Clogged air filter or other issue causing the wrong air/fuel mixture in the engine
White - Cooling system leak
Blue - Oil leak inside the engine
Seeing excessive amounts of any colored exhaust smoke is an issue that needs to be inspected as soon as possible.

"I brought my car in to get a quote on brakes. Rather than stating I need them now, they advised I had about 5k more miles to drive. They also gave me a quote which was lower than the dealership. When it is time to get them replaced I will be going to Woodies! Very professional!
Follow-up: My car light finally came on advising me the brakes pads needed to be checked. I contacted Patrick at Woodies and he was able to get me in immediately. He was spot on with his quote from October and I was able to get the brakes and rotors changed. Also, I appreciated the courtesy shuttle back and forth to the house."
