Hope everyone is well out there! At this point in time, we are starting to schedule the routine maintenance starting in May and moving on into the warmer summer months. We are limiting the amount of check ups a day the techs are given so they can take the time and make sure everything is sanitized and clean before they leave.
If you would like a specific day or time frame then please give us a call or shoot Becca an email. If not expect an email or phone call from Becca to get you on the books in the upcoming weeks.

We are about to start preforming routine maintenance again in the upcoming weeks. Please be patient while we work on getting everyone scheduled in a timely manner. If there is a specific day you are interested please give Becca a call or send her an email and she will do her best to accommodate.
Please know we at Woody's Sudden Service, in accordance with our governor, will be practicing social distancing guidelines as best as possible. Techs will be wearing protective masks, gloves, and boot covers as well as disinfecting surfaces as they go along. We are also limiting the amount of service checks a tech is doing in one day to provide extra time as well as less exposure to everyone.

With us staying home a lot more these days, a working heating and cooling system is more important then ever! With temperatures, slowly, but surely on the rise a lot of us are turning our AC's on for the first time this season.
If you suspect that your system is not working efficiently or at its full capacity give us a call. We are taking as many precautions as possible in this trying time to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Don't let low refrigerant levels add to the stress of daily life- let Woody's Sudden service make at least a small problem, suddenly disappear.

Since Spring Check ups are postponed until May we just wanted to give you guys a reminder and a couple of things you can do to help at home:
Check your filters regularly and change as needed. If they get clogged or are filled with dust it may cause the system to stop working.
If you can, please start adding about 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of bleach or vinegar to your condensate line once a month now that the weather is starting to warm up.
We will be, hopefully, resuming the annual Maintenance in May. If you would like to go ahead and schedule that appointment please give the office a call at 703-369-5528 or send an email to wssofcmgr@gmail.com.
AGAIN, if you have an issue with your hvac system or water heater we are still running trouble calls. Please give us a shout and a tech will be out ASAP to get you up and running.
Lastly, if allergies are a concern or if you are worried about air quality and what might be lurking we do offer UV bulbs to kill bacteria as well as air purification systems.

But did you also know, its time to get those humidifier pads changed and get the humidifier fired up! Make sure they are set to around 35-40% humidity and your home will be perfect transitioning into the dry weather that is just around the corner.

As we are sure you guys are well aware, winter weather appears to be on the horizon. Make sure all your vents are open for proper air flow, filters are clean, outdoor water sources are turned off for the season, and your mechanical room is getting heat to prevent any issues with your pipes. Any issues, give us a shout! We also offer after hours emergency service if you find yourself in a pinch after 4pm or on weekends!
Now wear those PJ's backwards, and flush an ice cube down the toilet - maybe Jack Frost will give us a visit 😉
