Today I'm taking a break to look back with gratitude to the dogs who worked "the pile" during that tragic event.
Although the press were not allowed the AKC managed to make arrangements for a photographer to visit (under cover) to meet a few of the dogs "on duty" that day.
They were hard at work so I was there for a brief time but the memory of that day will last forever.

Today is National “Make Your Dog’s Day” Day. What have you done for your dog lately? Talk about making someone’s day, our ABARS rescue “Zeus” found his forever home today! J likes to take an official “goodbye & good luck” photo with all of our rescue graduates😊.

Rest assured, your pets are warm and cozy 🥰. If you are scheduled to pick up at 9am, you may want to do so during the afternoon pick up window to allow the snow plows a chance to do their job. Message us through Facebook if you need to get in touch with us while the phone/internet is down. In the event that our phone service has not been restored when you arrive to pick up, there will be someone to meet you at the front door. As always, please where a mask when you arrive to pick up/drop off your pet/pets.
