Happy Friday! It’s beginning to look a lot more like fall in the South and I’m not mad about it, although wishing for one more beach trip isn’t a bad thing right?! This weekend, we are finalizing some details for what is to be an absolutely amazing wedding for a dear client flying in town. Are you getting a jump start on wedding planning or have some fun on the agenda?
There is something about these marble spiral stairs at the @georgianterrace that always stops me in my tracks. Excited to share with you a few behind the scenes photos from the past two weeks. From weddings in the mountains in North Carolina to the bustling city in Atlanta at one of our city’s most iconic spaces, we’ve got lots to share and a little bit of why we’ve been a little more quiet around here the past couple of weeks. We are also gearing up for some amazing new content in the Principles of Planning course and can’t wait to share more!
A little mid-week reminder to be kind and give some love today. ❤️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Does anyone else just miss hugs? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Being in this industry for so long, my peers have become my closest friends and with the shut down of weddings for so long (along with all of our fun networking events and gatherings), I miss my people!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For now, my kids will get all the extra snuggles (and continue questioning why I’m being so overly affectionate) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #arewehugging
We must free ourselves of the hope that the sea will ever rest. We must learn to sail in high winds.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -Aristotle Onassis⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On our journal today, we are sharing some of our favorite destination wedding locations in Greece while we are over here missing adventure in a far away place. #destinationweddingplanner

Sometimes I’m reminded of how lucky I am to be able to do what I do. Today I want to take a moment to celebrate my amazing clients, current and past. Thank you for being here and sharing in this journey with me. ❤️
Happy Monday! After a beautiful wedding this weekend, we are back in the office and starting our week out with some kick off meetings with some newly engaged couples. These meetings give us the opportunity to find out as many details as possible so that we can be effective and efficient as we begin making recommendations for perfectly matched vendors.
Remembering, celebrating and honoring all who serve today. #veteransday

If I had a flower for every time I thought of you, I could walk in my garden forever. // Alfred Lord Tennyson
I’m finally getting the chance to sit down and sift through some of our fall wedding photos and when I came this one of Claire and Nick, I can’t help but feel the love between them. COVID certainly brought many challenges to this wedding including a last minute ceremony to the Fox Theatre due to distancing regulations. I can’t wait to share more photos from @annaandspencer on our blog this week. It was such a beautiful transformation of the space and one of my very favorites to date.
It’s flatlay Friday! A peek at some pretty details from a boudoir shoot with @kberryphoto
I’m such a sucker for classic black and white photos. My love for photography started nearly 20 years ago when my grandfather gifted me my first film camera, a vintage 35mm Minolta, and I learned to process and develop my own film in a high school dark room. While I never had any intentions of photographing weddings (and still don’t), as a planner, my desire is to create something that easily translates to the camera. The beauty is in the details and the details are something that I pay extra close attention to.
