Vacation and closing the shop for a few days is a couple weeks away, but my mind has already gone to vacation mode. #hardtostaymotivated
Winter is coming-I feel like we are a tire shop today. One set mounted and balanced today and several on the docket.
Just a reminder to check your tires for good tread depth to be ready for that white stuff that is only a couple months out.
Before and After pictures of our new sign from Friday-I'm only a few days behind. :)
Thanks Napa for supplying the sign for us and thanks to Jefferds for the forklift to install!!
Backing our boys in blue today keeping them up and running with a service and front brake job.
Often we forget the sacrifice of those who have served or are serving to protect our Freedom of this Great Nation. So we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to all Veterans! Also a thank you to the families who have sacrificed as well. Lest we never forget the cost of our freedom.
End of year is always tough for me, as a small business owner, who wears many hats, accountant, bookkeeper, tax person, service writer, and so forth. Today though, I am grateful to have some extra hands helping get us through another end of year- my sister counting inventory and Dylan is working with us during his school break.
Good morning on this white Christmas. John and I want to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas. May your day be blessed and wonderful!!
Winter driving tip for today. If you have a remote start, remember to turn off your windshield wipers when you park. Wiper motors and wiper blades don't do well when frozen to windshield or several inches of snow.
Have a great Friday!!!

WE HAVE BEEN NOMINATED!
I know we have been quiet on FB lately, we've just been plugging along and forget to post updates of things happening in the shop. But as I sit in my office, this mountain of tires reminded me to share today. John has a busy few days ahead, with lots of tires to put on-Stay safe out there!
Today is a Big Day for us! We officially own a new building for our business. Over the past 8 years, our business has grown and we have needed a bigger space, but alas the search has been fruitless. However, months ago we heard about a possible option. We heard Jefferds was also growing and needed a bigger space so they would be moving out. After much prayer and discussion, it worked out and we purchased the Jefferds building. A win/win for all of us. We will still be in the Industrial Park, with a much bigger space. Today we signed the final paperwork!! It will be 5-6 months before we move, but it is a giant step in the right direction.
All Praise goes to Jehovah Jireh!!
Often we hear people complain about the cost of repairs on their vehicles. Here is an example of why things cost so much in labor nowadays--to simplify- there is nothing simple anymore. This is a "simple" headlight replacement on a 2019 F150-which requires, part of fender removal, grill removal, and a ton of screws and clips to remove the headlight assembly to replace the bulb. Ugh.....
I think auto engineers got together and said, "Let's just see how many people it does take to change a light bulb"-insert evil laugh.
Love the sunshine and warm temps. Means we can have lunch off the grill today. Woohoo!
