This week's theme for our "Health at Home" Series is dental care! A healthy smile is always in style. Share a video of your pet's squeaky clean teeth brushing routine. Our team will vote on a winner to receive a "thank you" prize.
Feast your eyes on this absolutely delicious pumpkin pie that our own Dr. Goh brought in to help celebrate RVT appreciation week! (Or veterinary staff appreciation week as we have been calling it) You’re sweeter than the pie itself and we thank you a whole lot! 💕🍁🎃
At Yokayo Vet Center, we are kicking off National Veterinary Technician week by celebrating our entire team of tireless technicians/nurses, kennel assistants, and CSRs! This year has been challenging in many ways but each and every one of our team members has shown incredible resilience and dedication to loving and caring for all of our clients and patients! Thank you!
Many people ask: Why is Veterinary care so expensive? What should you ask? How can I help this? -Pet Savings Account -Research the breed -good nutrition and environment Also, veterinary care isn’t inexpensive for us either. Hundreds, yes hundreds, of invoices are paid each month for Medicine.. rent, medical supplies and medicines, medical machines, office supplies, food for those who have to stay with us over night, staff wages (which btw-veterinarians and staff do not make as much as you may think. But they work hard because they’re passionate about the health and well-being of your pet). This is a good read😊 thedumplingvet October 24 at 4:32 AM · Heya everyone! Today's topic is something that's been highly requested, so here it is! It is an issue that I do my best to explain to people around me. I hope that by sharing this post, it will help all of us to understand the Veterinary costs better. I understand that certain points may be flawed or may seem irrelevant, but as a learning vet student, this is what I have learnt over the years while gaining experience. Do look through in your free time and I hope you find this content engaging and informative 💞 I will be taking a slightly longer time for my next few posts due to upcoming exams in November, but rest assured that I'll be back to tackle your questions and learn together with all of you! Till then, stay happy and safe! - Dogtor Dumpling 😊 #thedumplingvet #dogtordumpling #TDVVeterinaryCareSeries #TDVRawAndHonestSeries #askdogtordumpling #veterinary #vets #veterinarian #vetstudent #vetsofinstagram #veterinariansofinstagram #veterinarycare #vetnurse #dog #cat #money

Zip has been coming here to Yokayo for many of his years!! Unfortunately, a month ago, his human dad got really sick and Zip had to come stay with us for awhile.. but then found out his dad may not ever be able to return home. Zip’s human sister, who he knows and loves, lives in Texas but had no way to come get him even though she greatly wanted to take care of Zip. But an amazing thanks to Saving One Paw at a Time, Zip was reunited with his human sister!! So from Ukiah, CA to Haslet, TX Zip met 20 different drivers and other volunteers along the way and took a three day journey! The smile on his face with his sister says it all!!❤️🐾 a special thank you to Jen Robles, Cindy Anderson, and Mary Merritt for getting this all arranged!
