Youngsoo Oh, PT, LAc, of Youngs Physical Therapy & Acupuncture, is a dedicated healthcare provider specializing in physical therapy and acupuncture. He is devoted to building long-lasting relationships with patients of all ages at his Midtown Manhattan office in New York City so that he can support their individual health goals. Mr. Oh takes the time to listen to each patient and understand their symptoms so he can offer an accurate diagnosis and create the best treatment plan for optimal healing and long-term health.
Mr. Oh’s career as a physical therapist began at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He continued his education at Long Island University in New York where he obtained a master’s degree in physical therapy. Mr. Oh also holds a master’s degree in health science from New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, New York.
Additional training in physical therapy includes completing five seminars using the Maitland-Australian Approach, Myofascial Release Approach®, and sensory integration approach. Mr. Oh also completed training for the 3D treatment of scoliosis according to the Schroth Method.
Mr. Oh is fluent in both English and Korean. He is a knowledgeable physical therapist combining both Eastern and Western medicine and therapies for the most comprehensive approach to treatment.
