When I moved to the United States at 14 from Ukraine, I didn’t speak a word of English, but so many people helped me that I pledged to myself that I would always seek opportunities to give back. Today, I support Meals on Wheels, serve on the associate board for Gilda’s Club of Rochester, which helps those affected by cancer, and serve on the Ukrainian Cultural Center Board of Directors.
I spent 14 years working as an Allstate support person and became an agent in October 2014. I take pride in the weekly training I conduct with my team, focusing not only on customer service, but also on ways they can reach their career and life goals. Our office is open six days a week, and our team is fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
