In 2018, the Okby Group’s own Kathy O’Neill started the Labor of Love Breast Cancer Benefit, a breast cancer awareness initiative benefiting the Mollie Wilmot Radiation Oncology Center through the Saratoga Hospital Foundation. Each year, individuals participate in a silent auction where they buy tickets and place them into the baskets that they wanted to win. If their ticket number is drawn from the basket, they win the corresponding prize. Proceeds from the benefit go towards radiation and oncology patient care.
The Labor of Love Breast Cancer Benefit has been very successful since its inception. In 2018, the benefit resulted in $3,400, in 2019, $4,200 and in 2020, over $5,000.
Kathy’s efforts to spread awareness and give back to the community are truly inspirational. On behalf of the Okby Group, I’d like to congratulate Kathy on her successful benefit.

Kathy’s efforts brought in over $2,200 in donations and she was able to purchase 6 boxes of fresh robes for breast cancer patients.
