A visit to our office looks different these days! We want to re-highlight one of safety measures, the extra-oral high vacuum suction, which we have nicknamed “Horton” like from “Horton Hears a Who”! Horton is present in every single dental chair in our office. Horton’s job is to suction the aerosols while we are performing dental procedures. When the dental team is providing care, aerosols are generated in the air- these aerosols are a mixture of saliva, water & respiratory particles. Horton is very loud, so remember to raise your left hand to communicate with our clinical team during a procedure. Thank you Horton for helping & keeping our office safe for our team & patients!
