As the saying goes, when it rains it pours and sometimes drainage is an issue. Like with this apartment complex whose current drains can't handle all the water if there is a heavy rain. We were called in to pipe 4" drains for this complex to act as overflow for the current drains.
These additional drains will assist and let everything drain smoothly.

As the cold weather sets in, is your house properly prepared? Draining your outdoor hose bibs, removing al hoses and/or installing frost-free hose bibs is highly recommended to prevent freezing pipes.
Instead of putting grease down your kitchen sink and then having to call us, try doing this instead. Our little bird friends will thank you!

It was great to work with Art Contracting LLC. We installed all of the plumbing fixtures for the this beautiful bathrooms.
Also pictures is a discharge pump we installed for a sink which allows the drain to be pumped up to the sewer line level. Discharge pumps are usually installed in basements or lower levels which cannot use gravity for the drains and need to be pumped out.

Our techs completed a gas line installation for a homeowner. The black piping underneath the deck runs from the gas meter to a new gas grill and future fire place.
The small chrome circle in the deck is called a dante valve which allows you to turn and turn off the gas feed to the fireplace.
The gas piping coming up through the deck will be hooked into the fireplace once it is installed on the deck.
Admit it Moms. This is so true! 😂

Our trench job continues. As you can see the trench drains are being installed, and once they are in they will have stainless steel grates installed as well.

PVC pipe can make a cool shoe storage solution for your kids or yourself!
Using equal parts distilled white vinegar and hot water works well on soap scum and grime. White vinegar is safe on ceramic tile and fiberglass, but will not work on marble.
So, who's family decorates the bathroom for the holidays?
Nobody likes soap scum. Here's a great way to clean your bathtub and shower.
Fill a spray bottle half way full of vinegar and heat it in the microwave. Fill the rest of the way with blue Dawn. Put the lid on and shake well. Spray on your tub and shower walls, allowing it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing away. This will even take care of the bathtub ring. Let it sit on your shower floor overnight and scrub the gunk away in the morning.
Work continues on our commercial plumbing job. The trench drains now have the stainless steel grates installed. Concrete will now be poured and the grates will be flush with the floor.
Beware of these suspicious looking gentlemen. They are NOT plumbers!! 😂

On a "No Heat" service call.
Two zones in the house were not keeping temperature like the rest of the zones in the house. Our techs purged the whole system, while maintaining pressure, to force any air in the lines through the system.
From time to time air seeps its way into the baseboard system which causes issues with the hot water circulating through the system.

On a recent commercial service call, our crew cut out and replaced a leaking section of a PVC roof drain.
We had two separate drain snaking service calls last week.
The first (green glove pictures) had a washer or piece of metal stuck inside the line which caused the back up.
The second group of pictures is pieces of wood, plastic, and trash bags which caused the other back up.
Yes, we are the weirdos.
