Which setting seems more comfortable when receiving crucial withdrawal treatment and care?
Those in need often find themselves in a hospital emergency room. While treatment may be administered, there is potential for long wait times and many receive care from medical providers without addiction medicine training.
Achieve Whole Recovery offers same day walk-in and can administer medicated assisted treatment that day. Our withdrawal treatment room is comfortable, warm-lit and private.
Our wait times are minimal because we do not have the size and medical scope of an ER. All of our staff is trained in Addiction Medicine and knows how to tailor treatment to the individual patient.
At Achieve Whole Recovery, we understand addiction is a medical disease, and we treat our patients with the compassion we would expect to be treated with in a similar setting.
"Some people refer to their nightly glass of wine as a habit that could easily be replaced with something else if given some thought. Others see their nightly alcohol as a reward and a need; it’s not just a habit, it’s an addiction that often sends our lives into tailspins. While that can change, sobriety takes a lot of work that requires planning, support, and new routines and rituals. Choosing something besides drinking is empowering and life-saving and with enough time will become our new normal. "
