You can take an active role in reducing your risk for heart disease by eating a healthy diet, engaging in physical activity, and managing your cholesterol and blood pressure. February is a great opportunity to start some heart-healthy habits!
Ways to Observe American Heart Month:
Take up a heart-healthy habit – Ex. Jogging or substituting sodas with water (try to stick with this for a whole month)
Educate yourself – known risk factors such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, smoking, diabetes, and excessive alcohol use. Learn ways to you can prevent risks and make lifestyle choices that can help you stay healthy.
Get your cholesterol tested - simple test performed by your doctor.
Now is the time to take control of your heart health!

Change Your Password Day! 💻
It is very important to change your password on a regular basis, this helps to keep you and your information safe.
Here are some tips and characteristics of strong passwords:
• Use at least 8 characters – the more characters, the better.
• Use a mixture of both uppercase and lower-case letters.
• Use a mixture of letters and numbers.
• Note: do not use < or > in your password, as both can cause problems in Web browsers.
• A strong password is hard to guess, but it should be easy for you to remember- a password that must be written down is not strong, no matter how many of the above characteristics are employed.
• Change your password regularly- once every three to six months. Change immediately if you have the slightest suspicion the password has become known by a human or a machine!
