Afsana Alam MPH, is a family medicine physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley. She has a special interest in improving the health of her community and in building relationships with patients and their families. After graduating from Cornell University, Dr. Alam earned her master of public health from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She received her doctorate of osteopathy from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Alam served her residency in family medicine at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and was named chief resident during her final year.
