Alabama Laser Spine Decompression is home to Dr Helen Stoddart, MD: Johns Hopkins trained physician having completed her 5 year combined residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Internal Medicine. She then completed the American Society of Interventional Pain Management Physicians training in interventional pain management. She is Medical Director for Alabama Laser Spine Decompression as well as maintaining her own practice at Pain to Wellness in Madison AL. She began her career at Oakwood University right here in Huntsville where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry. She further pursued her interest in health and the inner workings of the human body by acquiring a master of Science Degree in Anatomy from Howard University in Washington, DC. Continuing on at the Howard University School of Medicine, she graduated with honors in the top 5% of her class. Alabama Laser Spine Decompression is also home to Dr. Greg Millar DC CCEP. His undergraduate work was done at Ga Tech and Barry University. He completed Chiropractic School at Life University Atlanta where he graduated with honors and top 5 in his class. While at Life he was president of the Student Body. He completed 2 years of post graduate study to earn the coveted CCEP designation. He is a certified extremity practitioner and specializing in sciatica and leg nerve problems and weakness. He is also certified in Neurology, Decompression Traction and Lasers having completed post graduate training in all three. Dr Millar was further trained by and practiced with the UAB Neurosurgeons for 10 years. He has authored two books. He has also done over 500 local TV shows like MEDLINE and BackTalk on ABC Waay TV doing medical news and comment.
