Dr. Alec Weisberg obtained his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville. He completed a residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and fellowships at Vanderbilt and the Texas Heart Institute, Houston. Dr. Weisberg specializes in interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and noninvasive vascular imaging. He is board-certified. Dr. Weisberg has been honored as the chief cardiology fellow at the Texas Heart Institute, by the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, and the Microbes and Defense Society, and has been awarded the Albert Weinstein Prize in Medicine, the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award and the SEARCH Program Fellowship.
