Did you know your dog's barks have different meanings?! For example, if your dog does a high-pitched bark in a repeated series it usually means PLAY TIME!!! Whereas a high-pitched repetitive bark with pauses means excitement! Such as when you walk in your house and your dog just can't believe your home and they are just so excited!! Sometimes during this behavior, they will even bring you a toy to show off. Some barks will show fear, these usually also have a mix of growls. If you see the lips pulled back with a bark, BACK UP. This is usually a signal of attack. Dogs bark for many reasons; some of the top reasons are boredom, frustration, attention seeking, anxiety, social reasons. Knowing why your dog is barking can help keep a happy and safe household. Tell us about your dogs barking behaviors!
