Tempest crossed the rainbow bridge last night. As an adolescent, she was trapped by practice manager Leah and socialized and became a wonderful pet. Those who knew “Tempy” learned to work around her feisty personality! Tempy was Atlantic Animal Healths feline blood donor for 10 years, 2 years longer than the average donor, until she retired’ 3 years ago. With her blood donations, she saved dozens of our feline patients needing her blood to survive.
In her honor, we are asking you to consider a donation to Cape Atlantic Cats, who sustained severe financial impact due to Covid restrictions. Tempy was once homeless, and they assist so many cats from dire circumstances.... Thank you.
Happy Vet Appreciation Day to Dr Nordt, DVM and Dr Sloan, VMD!
And the winner of the Bravecto raffle is....
Thank you Wildlife Aid for the kind comments!

Thank you Dr. Lori Nordt of Atlantic Animal Health for being one of the very few veterinarians who will help wildlife. Hammonton Skippy was examined by Dr. Nordt last night and received a rabies vaccination. He has a urinary tract infection so he will be on meds for a short time and very soon moved to his final slow release cage. If you weren't sure from the picture, he still thinks I am a horrible person even though I clean his cage every day and feed him steak and chicken and mice. All pictures were taken last night, but the lighting at Dr. Nordt's office wasn't great for pictures. His fur is growing in great.
Happy Holiday's from all of us!
Great rescue...

NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES! A bridge inspector was working 120 feet above the Mississippi River when he spotted a distressed dog stranded beneath the deck. He called police for help, then quickly created a makeshift harness out of rope to lift the poor pup to safety 👏👏 STORY: https://tinyurl.com/y3xcqdms
