Dr. Amanuel Sima, M.D., F.A.A.S.M., is a board-certified physician who specializes in internal medicine, pulmonology, critical care, and sleep medicine. He currently serves the community of Southern California with cutting-edge diagnostics and treatment management at his clinics in Beverly Hills and Inglewood.
Dr. Sima graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where he majored in integrative biology and human physiology. He earned his Medical Degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
He pursued his postgraduate training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center, with an internship and residency in internal medicine. Dr. Sima stayed at UCLA Medical Center to complete fellowships in pulmonary and critical care medicine, in addition to a fellowship in sleep medicine, which he completed in conjunction with the West Los Angeles Veteran’s Administration.
Dr. Sima is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Pulmonary Medicine, the American Board of Critical Care Medicine, and the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He’s also a fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Sima has worked in a wide range of health care settings, including private practices, hospitals, and laboratories. In addition to his work at Dr. Amanuel Sima, MD, he’s also the medical director of the ICM Medical Group’s Medical and Imaging Group, and the laboratory director of ICM Clinical Laboratory and National Sleep Solutions’ Diagnostic Sleep Laboratory, all of which are located in Inglewood.
