Things I am grateful for? This man β¬οΈ one million times over.
On this day one year ago, he made a very special diagnosis that would change our lives forever.
Dr. Egan, you were SO busy that day...probably 5 or 6 special eyes. But you took the time to look a little deeper, and we are so grateful for your thoroughness. Your bedside manner with my kids over the years is unmatched!
Alayna is healthy & happy & being monitored...probably for the rest of her life. But I can't stress to you enough how important it is to get your yearly dilated eye exam. We had no idea Alayna's vision was in potential danger. She showed no symptoms. Some diseases are quiet monsters and it takes an angel disguised as an optometrist to save you from them.
