To Our Valued Clients:
In order to limit potential exposure of our clients to the COVID 19 virus and comply with government rules and recommendations, we will need to make some changes in how we handle appointments, prescription refills and so on. This will allow us to limit contact between clients and give us time to more thoroughly clean our facilities between clients and appointments:
For those clients who have an appointment for their pet(s), we request that you call the clinic (503-371-1988) from your car when you arrive at the clinic to let us know that you are here. We will then advise you as to how to proceed. If you can’t call from your car, please knock on the front door before entering and wait for one of our staff members to let you know how to proceed.
Also, we request that you please call our office before coming in to get any medications, prescription foods or other supplies. We will then advise you as to when those items will be ready for pickup and then again ask you to call when you arrive at the clinic or knock on the front door before entering the clinic.
Due to orders from Governor Kate Brown, we must require that any visitors who enter the clinic wear a mask, face shield or face coverings (with rare exceptions)
These are certainly stressful and unprecedented times, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we all work through this together. Please stay safe!

We recently lost a beloved member of our Animal Care Center family. Nancy DeLemus passed away suddenly at her home on the evening of May 25, 2020.
At work, Nancy was always cheerful and upbeat. She got here early and stayed late until all the patients were cared for and everything was done.
Outside of work, she loved to cook and was always bringing cookies and other goodies in to the clinic for us to munch on. Nancy was also an avid reader and often spent the better part of her lunch hour immersed in the latest book she was reading. Most of all, though, she was a great lover of animals. Nancy spent her entire career caring for and working with animals. Throughout her life, she would take on pets that other people had given up on or didn’t want any more, and give them a fresh start and a loving home.
We are all going to sorely miss Nancy here at the clinic, and the entire animal kingdom will miss her as well.
Nancy requested that no services be held for her in the event of her death. If you would like to honor Nancy in some way, her family has suggested a donation to the Willamette Humane Society.
Rest in Peace, Nancy.
We are now scheduling elective surgical procedures :) We are still following and practicing all required protocols during this time and we appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation. Call us with any questions.
We are still operating our regular business hours and seeing patients for both urgent and wellness exams. Elective surgeries are still not able to be done at this time, if your pet is needing a dental cleaning or needs to be spayed or neutered please give us a call and we can put them on our waiting list :)

We are asking our clients to comply with city and state regulations regarding the COVID-19 virus. Currently we are still operating our regular business hours and seeing patients.
At this time, there is no evidence, per the CDC and WHO, that pets can spread the coronavirus. However, their fur may act as a fomite. For the latest information, we encourage you to check out these websites:

Why has my veterinarian been SO busy?
Oregon Veterinary Medical Association
December 16, 2020 at 7:39 AM ·
We know it's hard to hear that there is a longer than usual wait time for your pet's appointments these days. At present, veterinarians are required by Oregon OSHA to operate through a curbside model— with limited exceptions—to help keep clients and staff safe. There is also increased demand for veterinary services right now; some of that is catch-up on regular and preventive services that were delayed earlier. But like the pandemic, this too shall pass, and your veterinarian appreciates your patience and understanding. Everyone on the veterinary team is working hard every day to care for your animals!
