“It’s been a full month of having my rainbow baby by my side and I would repeat everything all over again because it led us to having him. Looking at him, I see all the tears I shed, the fear I had felt of the unknown. But I also see the amazing people who never gave up to help us, the family/friends who supported us. I see Hope in him. All the time it took to have him, means nothing now because we have a lifetime ahead of us. Happy one month, Emenadiel 💛. I could never thank @ccrmfertility enough for making me a mother all over again.”

To say we are excited to add a new little baby to our family is an understatement, our journey this time around was (thankfully) much easier and stress free. We feel lucky, lucky we get to go through parenthood together once again, lucky Ava gets to be a big sister. Lucky this little guy chose to stick around and double the love in this family.”

“What a difference a year makes! On 11/21/2019 that little embryo started its journey to become our sweet little Emmaline. Here she is on 11/21/2020 thanks to @ccrmfertility, the amazing Dr. Surrey, and Nurse Ellie (who, with kindness, answered probably over a million questions from me over the years 😋)! When we “graduated” from CCRM after our 10 week ultrasound I cried, I felt at home there and secure, it would feel weird not to go there regularly. A few days later this onesie came in the mail from CCRM, reminding me they were still there. It being so early in my pregnancy her wearing this onesie felt so very far away, like a distant dream. With so much love, science, and patience here she is! I cried again when I put her in this special little onesie, the same one I once only dreamt of her wearing. This day meant so much to us and we couldn’t be more happy or thankful! 💕 Happy Transferversary little one, watching you grow from the very start has been a dream come true!” - Katy Ann
“After 112 shots, 3 failed IUIs, hundreds of pills, medicated patches and suppositories, and countless blood draws, ultrasounds and doctor appointments, Smith and I are beyond thrilled to share that Baby Boy will be joining us in May 2021 💙

“One year ago today, we met Ingrid 💛 Our closest people were praying for us and our embryo transfer to be successful. All I wanted for Christmas was to be a mama. And here we are, one year later, with the most beautiful, happy, bright blue eyed, red headed little 4 month old lovey. We are beyond amazed and still in awe that Inga is ours 💛💛💛
I’m thinking today of close friends still waiting for their miracle babies. You are seen, you are thought of, your story isn’t over.
We love you, Ingrid Whitney. Our little peach pie 🥧 🍑 So glad we met you!!”
Thank you @eatsleepwear for sharing your infertility journey. Your story is one of hope to others currently on their path to parenthood. 💗🙏. Otis will be an amazing big brother. Congrats!!! 🎊
“At times this moment felt impossible. This year has not only been hard under normal circumstances but throw in infertility, covid-19, 1 cancelled transfer 5 days before due to covid, and 2 failed embryo transfers with genetically tested and normal embryos. To say this year has been filled with heartbreak is a huge understatement. But on October 26th, we transferred my 3rd and LAST embryo in our last attempt to get pregnant. To have hope after so much failure felt impossible at times but also there was always a glimmer of it. You fight. You hold on. And with tears streaming down my face, I can tell you that 3rd time was the charm 🌈 🤰🏼That phrase will forever be changed for me. I AM PREGNANT. Our hopes and dreams have been answered. And when they say it only takes one, it’s the truth. It felt right in my heart to leave this year not angry with what it threw at us, but how it left us stronger, and continued to teach us all just how much love and courage we have in our hearts. Our tiny miracle is proof that there was a rainbow in 2020. It just took us a while to get there. I can’t believe I get to say the words, “I’m pregnant!” Just... wow. Feeling so much gratitude to use those words 😭 To all my fertility warriors struggling through, going to appointments and procedures alone and staring into the depths of your own struggle: I see you. Don’t give up hope. You are not alone. 💞 Sharing our story on www.eatsleepwear.com as always it’s a long and intense read but I hope it can help anyone going through this process make their journey a little bit less scary and a little bit less unknown. Thank you for all the continued support for our family. A rainbow coming July 2021. 🌈”

It was a long journey getting us to these sweet bundles of joy, one we will never take for granted. .
Still can’t believe this little guy is here 💙
You’d think it would have sunk in by now. I remember like yesterday how sick we were to go to yet another clinic. We were tired, emotionally drained and losing hope. I knew I had to give it one last fight. That way I could walk away having closure if things didn’t work out.

Somehow they did. Feeling so grateful for @ccrmfertility and science today 🙏
.
For those of you still waiting hang in there. It’s a long, painful and lonely journey that no one understands. As long as this is what your heart desires then keep going.

We got the news of our PGS testing back from our clinic. Of the 31 eggs retrieved we started out with 20 embryos and after a number of days 14 ended up going to testing. From there 8 came back as viable and 1 needed to be retested. When your embryos go to testing they are basically rated by the embryologists for which ones have the best chance at success, though as we have learned on this painful journey it’s no guarantee. Of the 9 total 5 came back as Day 5 blasts (meaning they were dividing rapidly and made it to blastocyst stage which is GREAT!) The nurse (who since we are at a new clinic knew nothing of our journey) then said well I hope you really want a girl because ALL of your strongest embryos are girls and actually the other 3 were girls too and the one we can’t get a read on is the only boy.
The most important thing to me is to have a healthy child, regardless of whether it is a boy or a girl. But I am SO EXCITED to give Brexton a little sister!!
Also MORE HUGE NEWS our doctor thinks I can carry our baby!!! You guys I had given up on this dream and now I may have the opportunity to feel sweet little life growing inside me again!
To give you some background before we went in for this round of egg retrieval we did still have 4 boy embryos left. Our doctors at the REACH clinic, CCRM and an additional doctor we consulted with all believed that since our remaining embryos (Brexton and his first two sisters were the top rated if you will) were all not rated as high and additionally since both myself and our surrogate (so two women who have carried successfully) both had failed cycles they were all lead to believe these embryos would not see success and that’s why we decided to do another egg retrieval. It pained me so much to have to start at square one again and not try those embryos but I also knew the devastation of a miscarriage and failed cycles and decided to trust in our doctors recommendations.
In the video I was so overwhelmed with excitement, I felt the need to tell you all that I was a girl and my brother, was a boy. 😂 Ahhh you guys please say some prayers that this all works and we get to make Brexton a big brother!!
Also below are a few common questions we get:
1️⃣ By doing IVF you do NOT get to choose the sex of your baby when the embryos are being formed
2️⃣ Doctors highly recommend doing testing for a variety of reasons but a main one is to try to help to avoid a failed implantation or miscarriage
3️⃣ IVF with PSG testing is not a guarantee for success but depending on a number of factors can help increase your chance of a successful transfer
“I was starting to believe this day would never come. One year ago we walked into @ccrmfertility for our treatment. One year later we are blessed with the greatest gift.

“2020’s silver lining: baby boy’s arrival in early July 🤍 we’re so excited!
.
It wasn’t easy, though. In the middle of a raging pandemic, we went through a whole lot of fertility treatments to get here:
– 3 failed rounds of IUI (January-March)
– 3 surgeries to remove a massive 4cm fibroid (July-September)
– 1 successful (thank god) round of IVF (July retrieval and an October transfer)
.
Really, though, during the middle of it, it didn’t seem like a lot. It kinda felt like training for an ironman – one workout at a time (in this case, though, one injection into my abs or ass at a time). But when I type it out and look at it collectively? Whoa 😳
.
Fertility is a fickle thing, at almost any age. You never know how your body will respond to fertility treatment, and having it work – having a healthy baby – isn’t guaranteed. So I’m incredibly grateful that at 40 my body cooperated (really well!) and that we’re halfway through! Thank you to my amazing doctor at @ccrmfertility Minneapolis – she is why we’re here.
.
Sharing publicly while going through it all didn’t feel right for us, but now, I’m an open book. Questions about IUI, my fibroid, IVF, treatment in general, how I felt during and feel now? Ask away, either here in the comments or head over to my stories for a Q&A! I’m more than happy to share. (I also wrote a more detailed post over at sweetsweatlife.com!)”

“1 week ago, our sweet boy entered our lives and we couldn’t be more in love 💙 Summit Price Erickson, born February 19, 2021 💙 The journey to a summit can be challenging and long, but once you make it to the top, you know it was worth it all. We finally have you in our arms, and we know we’ve made it the top 💙”

“Grateful
Still can’t believe this little guy is here 💙
You’d think it would have sunk in by now. I remember like yesterday how sick we were to go to yet another clinic. We were tired, emotionally drained and losing hope. I knew I had to give it one last fight. That way I could walk away having closure if things didn’t work out.
Somehow they did. Feeling so grateful for @ccrmfertility and science today. 🙏
For those of you still waiting hang in there. It’s a long, painful and lonely journey that no one understands. As long as this is what your heart desires then keep going.
Take it one day at a time and know your baby is making his or her way to you. If you’re tired and need a break that’s ok too.
Hearing success stories always gave me hope. So trying to share a little with you today 🥰🥰
Also Zayd loves this néw Play-mat dad found him @scandiborn & rocking his onesie MADE WITH LOVE AT CCRM.” - Dina

“After a long journey, she’s finally here! Evie Brooke Matkovich was born this morning, March 19th, at 7:40am weighing 7lbs 7oz! We’re so grateful for everyone who has supported us throughout this process especially our surrogate @brooklynbaca88 and her wife @andreabaca23 and their son Beckham. When @drbrianlevine froze my eggs at CCRM New York almost 5 years ago, we didn’t realize what our journey would look like but it was well worth the wait! Thank you @ccrm_ny @ocfertility and all of our friends and family! Can’t wait for you to meet Evie!”

“Most people say, “The journey has just begun”, but for us, the journey began 4 years ago. It’s been filled with prayer, perseverance and heartache. When people think about infertility or IVF, they think about the money, the medication and the shots, (which is a big part of it, don’t get me wrong, my belly still has the scars). But they don’t think about the trauma and emotional scars. The PTSD, always expecting the worst and doubting the best, waiting for the next shoe to drop, the constant anxiety behind every test, scan or call, it leaks into every aspect of your life. It hasn’t been easy but throughout our journey we’ve seen God in every circumstance. I’m sitting here, typing this, feeling our little baby kick and I’d do it again in a second because it led us to this non-perfect, beautiful, gift from a perfect God.
Hundreds of shots, too many pills to count, 4 years of unexplained infertility, 3 IUI’s, 2 rounds of IVF and 1 embryo transfer. Our little fighter embryo has turned into our miracle baby. Due August 2021. Thank you, God.” - @kellyelizabethprince
