Hamid Kamran, MD, FACG, is a board-certified gastroenterologist who is proud to provide care to men and women throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex at Arlington Gastroenterology Services in Arlington, Texas.
Dr. Kamran received his medical degree in 1986 from Allama Iqbal Medical College at the University of Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine in Montgomery, Alabama. He then completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.
After a stint as a professor of gastroenterology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Dr. Kamran started his own private practice in Texas in 2002. He brings experience in treating a full range of conditions affecting the digestive system, including colon cancer, gastroenterological reflux disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, and diseases of the liver and pancreas.
Dr. Kamran is board-certified in gastroenterology and belongs to several professional organizations, including the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Texas Medical Association and Tarrant County Medical Society.
When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Kamran enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, going to movies, traveling, skiing and listening to music.
