It was a wonderful afternoon and stirred up fun memories of the good ole days!
Residents enjoyed today's unusually warm weather on the courtyard patio with live entertainment from a safe distance! 🎶🌞
In line with our Grand Tour #WorldTour theme this month, Azpira Place hosted a creative cooking class, where our Bistro Culinarian Lori made crepes for residents to customize with different choices of fillings and toppings! 💜

This month for #WorldTour, residents are touring through Europe with a stop in Paris, France! 🇫🇷
Jessica, Azpira Place's Director of Community Relations, traveled to France last summer and was able to showcase her trip for our residents, many of whom have also traveled to France!
Goodie bags of French sweets like butter cookies, macaroons and chocolates were enjoyed by all!

Yesterday at Azpira Place, we celebrated #VeteransDay by going door-to-door to each of our veterans and thanked them for their service with a certificate and an American flag pin. Small candles were also placed outside their doors so neighbors could thank them for their service. 🇺🇸

In honor of #CulinaryWeek, we're introducing you to Azpira Place's Culinary Experience Manager, Elizabeth Hunt!
Elizabeth just recently joined the community and is already part of the Azpira Place family! Before attending the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Elizabeth began cooking at a young age in the kitchen alongside her mother and grandmother and in turn, fell in love with the mastery of creating recipes.
Today, Elizabeth continues her passion by serving Azpira Place's residents and continuing to refine her speciality in global and vegetarian cuisine. When not cooking or enjoying her own favorite fare, Thai, Elizabeth is cheering on her Green Bay Packers or going on long runs. When asked what she's most looking forward to about her journey at Azpira Place, she shares, "I'm excited to create a more enjoyable dining experience for our residents, especially during COVID and beyond!"
