We are here for you and your pets. Due to the crucial role we play in the health and continuity of care for your pets, veterinary medicine has been deemed an essential business by authorities and we will continue to operate during the “stay at home” order recently issued in Illinois.
The safety and well-being of you, your pets, and our team members are our top priority, so we have taken preventative measures in order to create the cleanest and safest environment possible. Some of these precautions include:
• Curbside & drop-off appointments– please call (630)766-0620 to schedule your appointment today
• Virtual care appointments will be available soon via mobile application
• Consistent cleaning & disinfecting of all frequently touched surfaces
• All our team members have been instructed to follow the latest CDC guidelines regarding medical care
• Please note: if you are not feeling well or may be at risk of exposure to the coronavirus and your pet is in need of immediate care, please have a friend or family member transport your pet to the clinic and call beforehand so we are prepared to take all necessary precautions during intake.
• If you need to pick up any medications or food, please call and pay from your car and we will have a team member bring it to you. We respectfully ask that you do not enter the hospital at this time for medication/food pick-ups.
Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions or concerns that you may have. Thank you for your understanding.
Did you know that deaf dogs ARE trainable? Just like other dogs, deaf dogs learn commands and tricks using hand signals, along with treats. While they may never have the same recall skills as a hearing dog, they are just as trainable and obedient!

Black Cat Appreciation Day seeks to raise awareness about the low adoption rates for black cats. This time of year, many black cats may decorate thresholds for #Halloween. Old notions and mystical stories have given these furry critters a bad reputation. The day is about turning that idea around. How many of you have adorable black cats?
