Our son got his head stuck in our cat scratching post today and had to have it removed by the fire department 🤣🤣🤦🏼♀️ I thought my fellow cat friends would enjoy a little laugh this afternoon!!
First I would like to say our son is absolutely fine! He was not hurt in any way!!!! I tried desperately to get him out myself but I’m a little vertically challenged and could not lift him straight up and turn his head and wiggle it out all at the same time alone.
So I resorted to plan B.... (fireman enters scene) And yes they laughed the entire time 🤣🤣🤣 They did a phenomenal job!! I am sure it made for a much easier and more entertaining call than most they get these days.

Today, Weruva lost the patriarch of our company.
Rudi, the first rescued cat of David and Stacie, the reason that they went into the bodega to buy cat food, the reason they set out to make a better cat food, and the RU of WeRuVa passed away in the arms of his loving parents.
We all know as pet parents just how hard this is and want to give the whole Forman family our thoughts and prayers.
May you face the challenges of the coming week with as much utter coolness as this kitty! 😹

We played matchmaker between her and two of her beloved pups, Ellie (adopted from Albuquerque Animal Welfare) and Bayley (adopted from Second Chance Animal Rescue, Inc., New Mexico). In return, she sent Flower McFlower her very own hot kilted dude. We'll miss Teresa's smiling face, but we hope that wherever she is, there are lots of hot kilted dudes... and gusty winds. <3

My husband found a dog wandering in traffic in Rio Rancho on Broadmoor Blvd and Nicklaus Drive. When my husband opened the car door the dog jumped right into his car. The dog didn't have a collar on. If you know who this dog belongs to please send me a message on here.

Yesterday afternoon we visited the temporary headquarters of Street Safe New Mexico to drop off the donations we received in our MLK Day of Service donation drive. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our customers, we were able to pass along $1808 in monetary donations, plus a carload of tarps, socks, blankets, hygiene items, flashlights, food, and more. The Street Safe outreach team had just returned from passing out warmth items to homeless women after the overnight snow, so they were happy to get replenishments. Street Safe's work with homeless women and victims of sex trafficking extends to helping them make the transition to more traditional living and working situations, so donations of furniture, housewares, linens, and clothing are put to good use too. The Street Safe team is doing fantastic work in our community, and we're pleased to have connected with such an awesome organization!
