Breanna has a passion for nutrition education, chronic condition management, and community wellness. She specializes in working with adults with gastrointestinal concerns, as well as providing support to women with gastrointestinal disease during pregnancy. Breanna has a special interest in lifestyle and behavior change and believes that success is achieved by working with the individual to accomplish their goals and by enhancing communication with the individual’s multidisciplinary team and support system. Since completing her Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and earning her Registered Dietitian credentials in 2010, Breanna has worked as a Child Nutrition Manager, and as a Research Dietitian and Study Coordinator for National Institutes of Health studies before coming to Swedish in 2014. While at Swedish Breanna has been providing medical nutrition therapy education one-on-one and in groups at the Swedish Diabetes and Nutrition Education Center and in Swedish Maternal Fetal Specialty Clinic. Starting in March of this year, Breanna has joined the Swedish Gastroenterology team, dedicating 2 days per week, Wednesdays and Thursdays to the needs of gastroenterology.
