The Holiday season is a time to spend with friends and family and also a time for giving. However, one family had a tragedy strike the week of Thanksgiving when their house caught fire and they lost everything but the clothes on their backs. This family works in the legal community around our area and could really use the help of our great community.
I've set up a benefit account at Iberia bank (under Douglas Brimhall benefit account) in Jonesboro if anyone would like to contribute to make sure this family has a wonderful Christmas through this trying time.
I'm also taking donations at my office for:
Men's:
XL shirts
36x30 pants
S shirts
Gym/athletic pants (small)
House hold furnishings (any and all will be appreciated)
Updated:
Living Room Chair
Rugs
Dresser
twin and queen bed frame
washer
chest of drawers
One specific thing that was lost was the young child's bass guitar and amp. If anyone has a connection to this it would be much appreciated. (Some very amazing people have taken care of the guitar and amp today)
Let's come together as a community and help this family out.
God Bless and Merry Christmas.
Doug
