📌 Tropical Storm Update | August 22 📌
We are monitoring the storms and have a detailed emergency preparedness plan in place to try and address all aspects of an emergency situation. Our coastal communities are equipped with water, food, onsite or ready-to-deploy generators, and supplies, including an adequate supply of face coverings, hand sanitizer and disinfectants to care for residents.
At this time, there are no calls for evacuations. The plan for our communities is to shelter in place. We are taking appropriate actions to keep our communities safe throughout the storm and following the guidance and direction of authorities when it comes to potential evacuations.
We will update our community Facebook page with any necessary updates regarding the status of the storm. Please refer to our Brookdale Newsroom for the most accurate information:

We are so thankful for our staff members who go the extra mile for all residents in need! This is Brookdale Biloxi’s Business Manager, Kenjarvis, and Concierge, Cheryl. When Hurricane Laura hit, these two traveled to our sister community in Hattiesburg to lend a hand with the Brookdale Lake Charles community that had to evacuate. Brookdale’s CEO, Cindy, also recognized their awesome leadership!

Efforts towards COVID-19 prevention have become part of our daily lives, and we are so pleased to share that our Brookdale residents and associates are among the first group to have access to a COVID-19 vaccine. We are partnering with CVS Health through the federal government’s Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program and will be having our first vaccine clinic on January 29th for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving the vaccine. Together, we can take action to prevent COVID-19. #BrookdaleHope
