We are excited to introduce Paul as our newest addition to our Resident Programs Team. Paul will join Toni and Kathy in continuing to offer meaningful programs and events to our community.
Paul has already started a “new” program. Nancy, Alan, and Craig are excited to kick off our first-ever Fishing Club and Paul has already started B-fit exercise.
B-Fit Exercise is one of Brookdale’s signature programs. During this time it is so important to keep up our physical ability to stay mobile and active.
Kathy leads our B-Fit class with residents Rita, Jane, Walter, and others who choose to always keep moving and never stop.
On Barbecue Tuesday we had hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, coleslaw, raspberry pink lemonade margaritas, and a shrimp scallop skewer as an appetizer! A huge thanks, to our wonderful staff! It was very festive!
Today we were honored to celebrate 101 years of life with this spunky woman who shares stories of family and the world that has changed so much in her lifetime. We adore you Ruth, happiest of birthdays on this very special 101st! #WhatCarriesUsForward

Residents and staff often take advantage of our beautiful property by using the walking path that circles the entire building. Just today Lisa Sharp, Marketing Coordinator captured the beauty of our home.
Pumpkin decorating never felt so good. Our creativity was flowing with paints, decorations, spooky music, and a few pieces of candy. We will be displaying our pumpkins outside the dining room so stop by and have a look.
It was a competitive happy hour with residents and staff showing their team spirit for their favorite teams. It was a fun way to start conversations with each other about colleges we attended and the love of a sport we shared.
It’s never easy to find the right way to show our Veterans how much they are appreciated.
This year's veterans program looked different but it felt well received based on these smiles. Our Executive Director, Resident Service Director, and Resident Program Director delivered a surf and turf meal homemade by our in-house chefs and a special gift too! "Thank you" never seems enough for those who bravely served our country.
Craig and Vivian were looking for a community that they could bring their four-legged friend to live with them in. Heidi is often in charge of when they take walks and when they stop for a break on their walk.

A Halloween treat like no other. Our resident Grace’s granddaughter and family brought a very special parade of horses, children, and pups. These special moments don’t happen without our families. Thank you so much. Keep an eye out for information on our next family car parade for Thanksgiving.
Treats and drinks is how Brookdale Gables celebrated today. As we knocked on doors we were greeted by kitty cats, ring masters, clowns, and the Queen of Diamonds. Happy Halloween we hope you can find new ways of celebrating this year and make each moment count.

The CDC strongly recommends the COVID-19 vaccine and it’s so important that as many people as possible get vaccinated. We will be having our second vaccine clinic on February 7th at 11:00 am - 5:00 pm for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
