Dr. Scott Matson is a leading, board-certified urologist who serves patients throughout Glastonbury and Farmington, Connecticut and the surrounding areas. Dr. Matson specializes in helping male patients with infertility, vasectomies, and vasectomy reversals. At his practice, Vasectomy and Male Infertility Center of Connecticut, Dr. Matson has performed over 3,000 no-needle, no-scalpel surgeries.
Dr. Matson received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Connecticut in 1991. He continued on to the university’s School of Medicine where he obtained his Medical Degree in 1996 and completed his General Surgery Residency in 1998. Dr. Matson also went on to complete a residency of Urology in 2002 also through the University of Connecticut. He was certified by the American Board of Urology in 2004.
His commitment to education and professional studies continues and he is an active member of both the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology. Dr. Matson also received advanced training in Microsurgery from the Cornell Institute for Reproductive Medicine.
At the practice, Dr. Matson is known for both his professionalism and compassion when dealing with patients. When he is not working, Dr. Matson enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
