While this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s events will be different, they continue to be deeply meaningful. They continue to help raise awareness about the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. They continue to help raise funds that make a difference in the lives of those facing Alzheimer’s. Brookdale Senior Living Inc. continues to be one of the largest corporate supporters of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Congratulations to Michael Pernice, in Programs, as Employee of the Month. Michael came to Brookdale with a wealth of talent and diverse work background that really suits our new department needs during this pandemic. He has filled in writing and creating in-depth News and Views programs, travel programs, and virtual concert venues that delight our residents. Michael helps other departments and has made personal programming to room bound residents his mission. He is definitely a Brookdale hero!
