Dental Myth: "I don’t need to worry about baby tooth health since they’ll fall out anyway." This is not true. In fact, baby teeth should be cared for in the same manner as adult teeth. Remember, oral health has a huge impact on your overall health and well-being! Primary teeth can become infected and damaged baby teeth can permanently harm other permanent teeth. 🧒
Does going to the dentist freak you out? We totally get it. Dr. Cashion & Cody experienced their own dental fears as children so we're pros as calming anxious patients.🤗 Dr Cody is always finding new and better ways to make dentistry more comfortable and pain-free: like TVs to keep you entertained during procedures and new anesthetic that is liquid and squirted under the gum for regular and deep cleanings – no shot necessary. 🦷 Dr. Cody has the topical cream to numb the gums, specially formulated and made at the compounding pharmacist. She couldn’t find anything on the market that worked well enough so she created her own!💪

Ask yourself the following to make that assessment: -Do you have severe pain along with bleeding? -Do you have a partially dislodged or knocked-out adult tooth? -Do you have a loose permanent tooth (but no pain)? -Do you have an oral abscess or infection combined with swelling in the mouth or face? -Do you have a severely bitten tongue or lip? -Do you have a cracked or broken tooth? -Have you lost a dental crown or filling? -Do you have an object stuck between your teeth that shouldn’t be? -Have you broken your jaw from trauma/injury? “Everyone I met was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. This was the most positive experience I have ever had when visiting a dental office. I hope your people like me, because now you are stuck with me for life — I will never visit another dentist other than Cashion and Cody!” - Nina L.
⚠️What Is a Dental Emergency?? Some emergencies can wait until the next morning, but others could result in a lost adult tooth if treatment is not sought out immediately. Please call us right away if you have any of those conditions, and if you can’t reach us for emergency dental care, visiting the ER is your next best option!⚠️ To learn more, click here: https://www.candcdental.com/dont-let-a-preventable-dental-emergency-sideline-your-oral-health/

Brushing too vigorously can lead to receding gums and other issues.
We love receiving feedback like this: "Shout out to C and C Dental. They were 100% on top of the social distancing. I encountered no other patients while me and the kids were at our appointments today. I heard they had a full schedule, too." 👍🏻

A child's baby teeth (primary teeth) typically begin to loosen and fall out to make room for permanent teeth at about age 6. However, sometimes this can be delayed by as much as a year. (Or they might start losing teeth a little earlier and that's okay too!) 🦷
