We had a surprise visitor during Bingo today! Virginia's granddaughter Caroline and great grandson Aiden played Bingo with us outside. We've missed our Bingo buddy!
Carroll Place is a GREAT PLACE TO WORK!! Check out our "new" employee Franco Flamingo aka Eddie Turner. Franco knows how to to have FUN!! Watch him shake his tail feathers and spead joy where ever he goes.
Carroll Place held a successful chili cookoff! Eight entries were submitted from the staff. While each was delicious and different, we could only award one winner with the coveted Jose Caliente Award. It now proudly resides at the desk of Jennie Arter, our winner, until someone can come in and top her chili!
The Most Creative Pumpkin in our pumpkin decorating contest goes to our Community Relations Manager, Jennie Arter! She really "nailed" the natural look.
Meet our Employee of the Month for October, Logan Murphy!
Logan was an absolute gift sent to Carroll Place. He has blown us all away with how seriously he takes his role as Resident Care Partner here. His heart is in his work and he continues to ask questions and learn as much as he can on this wonderful journey in his career.
Logan loves the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and you can catch him wearing his ND mask at work; but we won’t hold this against him in Buckeye country! He also loves listening to the Grateful Dead and attending concerts.
Logan has a military background and was ROTC at Lancaster High and attended boot camp shortly after graduation. I’m sure the residents love those military corners when he makes their beds, as we have many veterans in the building, including
our Care Services Manager Andy.
We are happy Logan joined our family! Keep up the great work and we are so glad we found you, and you found us! You’ve made such an impact on us all and our residents!
Carroll Place's Facebook favorite winner is this adorable scare from Niniana Oehler. So cute!! BOO to you!
Happy Veterans day! Thank you to all the men and women who have served and are serving in the military. We will never know the extent of your sacrifices, thank you for your service!

Today we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was a vital leader of the American civil rights movement and a catalyst for change, racial equality, and justice for all.
Dr. King's leadership brought about meaningful progress and his enduring message is a reminder of the importance of servitude. Dr. King once proclaimed to a crowd in Alabama, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?" His call-to-action is more relevant now than it has ever been for our Enlivant community. We have a shared responsibility to help end the pandemic and create a sense of inclusion and belonging for all residents and employees. As an act of service, we call on you to help us protect our communities and each other, and do your part in getting the COVID-19 vaccine when it is available to you.
We are committed to being the change we want to see in this world. We hope you can spend a few minutes today reflecting on Dr. King's message of peace and equality and bringing these ideas to life alongside us. #MLK
