On a beautiful Thursday September evening Charter Senior Living held a small Wine and Cheese event for a few of our valued Hospice Providers. Through social distancing we shared a great time with old and new friends.
Congratulations to team members Tiffany Haney and Jill Brown! Tiffany and Jill have been awarded Certificates of Appreciation for their outstanding work. Along with the appreciation award, Jill and Tiffany will each receive a Visa gift certificate as well has 4 hours of Personal Time Off.

As National Assisted Living Week closes for the year, we thank Cardinal Hospice, Americans Home Health & Hospice and all of the other partners that helped make this week a little brighter. Our staff loved the t-shirts, gifts and the lunches and dinners delivered. 2020 #NALW is especially important to thank our health care workers that have been frontline heros since the beginning of Covid-19. We can't thank our health workers enough!

MEET KRISTAH GONZALEZ
Life Enrichment Director
WHO IS KRISTAH?
Kristah has lived in Bay City, MI, since she was 8 years old. She is a striving mother of 8. In 2009, she earned her diploma, six months earlier than the rest of her graduating class. Straight out of high school, she began employment at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America for several years. She then decided to further her education which led to the completion of her MA and CNA. While working as a Caregiver, she gained an interest in our activities department, earning her the promotion to Life Enrichment Coordinator. We are thrilled to have her back!
BACKGROUND:
Kristah has been with Charter Senior Living since July 2016. She recently took a short leave of absence but is finally back and ready to bring our Charter spirit back to its fullest extent.
Kristah has over ten years of experience in customer service and has six years of experience working in the health care field as a Medical Assistant, Direct Caregiver and CNA and has now been in life enrichment for two years.
Check out these lovely ladies...Kristah is assisting Joan as she flexes her bingo muscles again. Well deserved fun for all the residents.
