Cherika Gadson is a family nurse practitioner who provides primary care services for the whole family, starting at age six through geriatric ages. Cherika was born and raised in South Carolina and received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Charleston Southern University in 2005. In 2009, she received a Master of Science in Human Movement and Exercise Science.
Cherika then went on to Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia in 2012 where she received a second Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She also earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2015.
Her approach is to treat the whole person, not just the illness. Her clinical interests include the following: well and preventive care; treating seasonal allergies and sinus problems; musculoskeletal disorders; treating patients with acute illnesses; and, chronic disease management such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes.
