Family of kittens up for adoption! They have had their first vet visits, first set of vaccines, and have been dewormed. The mama cat is black, and about 8-9 months old. She is on the schedule to be spayed next week. The solid gray kitten is a female and from a different litter that the mama cat adopted as her own, and she is 7-8 weeks old. The black and white and gray and white are both boys, and they are 9-10 weeks old. Contact Ashlyn Torres 8036098019 for info and details about adopting these babies!
All this week we will be celebrating our technicians for their dedication and hard work for National Vet Tech Week!🩺Thank you for all you do to keep our pets happy and healthy!

Halloween can be particularly spooky for pets! Did you know it’s the second most common holiday for pets to get lost? Make sure your pet is microchipped and contact information is up to date. If your pet tolerates a costume, check for pieces that could be swallowed – like strings or buttons. Chocolate in all forms is toxic to pets, as well as candies containing xylitol. Keep treats away from paws’ reach and have a safe and happy Halloween!
Sweet Purrfections October 19 at 11:46 PM · Truffle had an upset tummy and had to go to the vet today. Dr Boyette didn’t find anything major wrong with her (no fever and no obvious obstruction). She could be trying to pass a hairball or just ate something that disagreed with her. She should be okay in a couple of days. Cherokee Trail Veterinary Hospital

With a cancer diagnosis we have been around a lot of gloom and doom in the last three weeks. Our experience with Dr. Strom along with his team was an absolute pleasure. We have seen our share of vets recently and This was the first appointment we didn’t leave crying. Dr.Strom gave us a plan to deal with this cancer, We are so grateful. Can’t wait for my other two babies to meet Dr. Strom as well.

It's National Cat Day! Join us in celebrating cats for all the wonderful love they give ❤️❤️❤️
We have 2 kitties looking to be rehomed due to unfortunate circumstances. The orange/white is Tigger who is 2 years old, very affectionate and is a big lap baby. The solid black is Merlin and he’s 1.5 years old, very friendly, but more reserved than his brother. Would love for them to go together but separate is fine too! Both are up to date on vaccines, both neutered, and litter box trained. The last flea application for both was Revolution Plus on 10/22/2020. Help us find our new furever homes by calling the clinic today!

ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center November 15 at 8:00 AM · Cool, wet weather is the prime growing environment for mushrooms. Make sure you keep a close eye when outside with your pets for these potential dangers. While many mushrooms may not cause any problems, some can cause serious problems and lead to a trip to the veterinary emergency room. Correct mushroom identification can be challenging, so it is best to keep your pet away.

Our Puppy has had ongoing issues with UTIs; has been on 3 types of antibiotics and required an ultrasound. Dr Kiesler has called me several times; explaining things in very detailed way, and always seems to have time for you.. She even called today simply to see how our puppy was doing. The place is clean, friendly, and wonderful vets overall. Can’t speak highly enough of them. We used to go to another one in town and this one is night and day difference.

ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center December 10 at 7:00 PM · Holiday Tip: The Christmas cactus is a cute flowering cactus that gets its name from the time of year it commonly flowers. The cactus is a nontoxic plant, but that does not mean you should allow your furry friend free access. Ingestion of plant material, even nontoxic plants, can lead to some mild digestive upset for your pet. So, try to keep it out of reach, but don’t fret if your pet does get a little nibble.

This is Kira. She is looking for a new home as her owner now can only keep her as an outside dog and she hates it (she is used to being inside). She is a 4 yr old (will be 5 in Feb.) purebred Siberian Husky. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. She is very healthy but will have to be on 1 medication for incontinence. She is shy but extremely sweet and is a complete cuddle bug. She is great with other dogs but is scared of children so no children under 12 would be best. Please text 803-394-4044 if interested.
