Joining Northwell Health in 2017 after seven years of clinical experience, Chetan Malpe, MD is an epileptologist who provides comprehensive care to patients suffering from epilepsy. He brings experience in addressing the psychosocial aspects of epilepsy care and provides a range of treatment options, including medical, surgical and neuromodulatory therapies. He is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Neurology, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society and the American Epilepsy Society.
Dr. Malpe earned his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine and then completed his neurology residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center. Following his residency, Dr. Malpe completed a two-year fellowship in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology at the renowned Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Malpe is double board-certified in neurology and neurophysiology.
