We are so excited to once again partner with Baltimore law firm Cohen & Dwin, P.A. to launch the Charles Richard Campbell Lend-A-Hand Fund, a program operated in conjunction with the Community Assistance Network to help individuals and families facing financial hardship to pay essential bills.
Each household will receive assistance between $250-$500, depending on need, to help with emergency bill payment of prescriptions, utilities, water, car repairs, and internet services.
“My father always made it a point to give what you could—either your time or what small amount of money you could spare--to help those in need,” says Calais Campbell. “Through the Charles Richard Campbell Lend-A-Hand Fund, I hope that these small gifts can help Baltimore families with basic bills and hardships that so many families are experiencing right now.”
The Community Assistance Network, the fund managers, will help determine the best way to help move each client from crisis to thriving and will provide follow-up assistance to ensure the services provided helped the family maintain financial stability.
Thank you to Cohen & Dwin, P.A. for partnering with us once again to give back to our Baltimore community and to the Community Assistance Network for helping us manage this program!
