"Animals are reliable, many full of love, true in their affections, predictable in their actions, grateful and loyal. Difficult standards for people to live up to." - Alfred A. Montapert
Are you bored at home and your travel plans or fun activities have been canceled? Consider volunteering at an animal shelter near you. They're busier than ever in most places. https://bit.ly/3fVZmQ2
Tip: The more animals you have, the more important it is to make sure they are all up to date on their vaccinations, dental checkups, etc. Bring them all in one-at-a-time too in case one of them has an illness that could spread to the others. They may need to be isolated.
Finally, some good news: Zoos around the world have reported a “baby boom” during the COVID-19 pandemic. Check out some of the cuties that came into existence during the lockdown: https://nbcnews.to/3do0HOl
"I really love pets. They're like children. They know if you really love them or not. You can't fool them." -- Donna Douglas

More than a receptionist. Our front office is the information hub of the hospital and we continue to search for individuals who have a strong appreciation for the human-animal bond, and who are professionally articulate. We prefer veterinary emergency and/or general practice medicine experience but we are happy to train someone with a genuine interest in our profession. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes well, and has an above-and-beyond service mentality in all he/she does. This is a position for an individual who innately pays attention to every detail and works effectively as part of an (amazing) team or independently.
