It is with great sadness that we must share the news of Ronnie Sue Roth's passing. Ronnie was a founder member of the Rockland Youth Dance Ensemble and a lifelong supporter of the arts in Rockland County. We will all remember Ronnie's big smile and personality, her helpful ways and her kind and caring manner. Ronnie spent her time at Coupe as Mom to Stacey and Melissa, as Backstage Coordinator, Assistant to Diane and the Chairman of RYDE. She was tireless in her efforts to put RYDE on the map and bring the arts to children in Rockland. Our condolences go out to her family at this difficult time. She will be remembered with great love and respect.
Today will be our last day of filming at 521 N Broadway. 3 more weeks and we'll be filming our snow scene and 2nd Act. I'm very excited to see studio 5 transform into a magical land.

We were fortunate enough to have Michele Kiely join us on Monday night to take photographs of the filming of the party scene. I think you will agree with me when I say looking at the faces of these children makes it all worth it. Thank you for your time and artistry Michele, you have truly captured the spirit of Nutcracker 2020 Reimagined. More photos to come!

Nutcracker 2020 Reimagined - Day 2 and the maids are now dismissed until next year! You were able to navigate props, stairs, doors, rain, more props, candles, hours in heels, waiting, "do it again but faster", "do it again but slower", "ragtags", did I mention props!! You were perfection, thank you!
Day 2 - Party Adults are finished! Thank you for taking direction, looking after your children, and for singing!

A big Thank You to these Beauties, for their spirit, their sense of fun and the love and joy they brought to the mansion. I also have to give a HUGE shout out to Charlene Yan for her style, her attention to detail and care she has taken with every costume in this year's production. Each button, hem, sequin, jewel and sash has been sewn with love and care. Charlene's hard work brings the choreography to life and color to the production

If you want to have a piece of Nutcracker 2020 memorabilia we are auctioning off a few items at the studio. Little ballerinas can own a pair of signed pointe shoes! We have beautiful garlands, frosted trees with lights, Nutcrackers used in the movie and wreaths and more. We are allowing parents in to the building to place a bid!
