Crystal Ullrich, Family Law Attorney
Crystal M. Ullrich is an attorney with Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group. Ms. Ullrich provides her clients with focused, compassionate and individualized representation in all areas of family law, including divorce, alimony, equitable distribution of assets, child custody, child support and domestic violence.
Ms. Ullrich listens carefully to her clients and prides herself on her ability to “dig deeper” in creating clear and detailed legal strategies tailored to her clients’ goals and needs. She is passionate about safeguarding her clients’ ability to achieve security and peace of mind in their lives, and is especially attentive to the needs of children in a divorce or custody matter. Ms. Ullrich will always explore low conflict settlement techniques like mediation whenever it is in her client’s best interests.
When litigation is needed and appropriate, Ms. Ullrich’s clients benefit from her extensive litigation background in family, civil and criminal defense matters. She has successfully tried cases in areas such as domestic violence, international abduction, and child relocation. She is highly skilled with all aspects of litigation, including trials, motions, discovery issues, and depositions. Her experience litigating criminal defense matters is particularly helpful to her when assisting her clients with domestic violence matters.
Ms. Ullrich actively participates in the Family Law Sections of the State and County Bar Associations where she is involved in facilitating close relationships between local attorneys and judges and presenting Continuing Legal Education seminars to fellow attorneys on updates and changes in the law. Through her memberships in the Municipal Court Committees of the State and County Bar Associations, Ms. Ullrich has further volunteered her time to lead Continuing Legal Education seminars. She is also a volunteer and speaker at Metuchen High School’s yearly Senior Seminar to help students understand their responsibilities in the community and how to best deal with social issues facing our youth.
Ms. Ullrich received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Seton Hall University with a minor in Psychology, and a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law, focusing her studies on family law, divorce, mediation, domestic violence, and criminal law.
During law school, Ms. Ullrich was a judicial intern for the Honorable David B. Katz, J.S.C. in the Family Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County. This experience provided an unparalleled opportunity to explore custody, parenting time and other family law issues from all sides.
