Dr. Daniel Kozman is a primary care physician who practices in downtown LA. He is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics. His clinical interests include primary and urgent care for all ages, preventive medicine, access to care for medically underserved populations and global health.
Dr. Kozman received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at UCLA, where he went on to serve as a Chief Resident in the Department of Medicine. He then completed a Master of Public Health program in Health Services Organization and a fellowship training program in Preventive Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Kozman remains heavily involved in medical education as an Assistant Professor and Associate Program Director for UCLA's Medicine-Pediatrics and Preventive Medicine training programs. He is also a site director for UCLA's residency programs at the Venice Family Clinic, and is a core faculty member for the Global Health training pathway. His goal in these roles is to equip resident and medical student trainees with the skills and resources needed to care for vulnerable populations in the LA community and abroad. He is also passionate about improving the representation and inclusion of disadvantaged populations within the healthcare workforce, and serves on multiple UCLA Health committees dedicated to this cause.
