Here for my LAST injection of Lupron in my battle with Prostate Cancer! In 6 months I'll know if we beat this!
Just had my Cancer check-up, and my next-to-last Lupron injection (every 6 months). Dr. VanTuhl said my labs came back perfect. PSA is still non-detectable! Hoo-yah!
Brought Dad in for his appointment today.. he is in pretty good spirits!!
What a wonderful facility and the friendliest staff!! They even let me watch and explained everything they were doing while Eric got his radiation treatment. Technology has come so far and is so precise.
Had a tour of STERLINGS state of the art DAVID WALSH CANCER CENTER and watched/helped my predacessor facilitate a 3 hr. OPIOD ADDICTION/TREATMENT seminar for a room full of amazing PHDs...did you know OVER 73,000 Americans died from opiods in 2017?

Just got genetic testing done at SRMC. Friends pass on the word that if you have any cancer in your family this is a great way and place to get tested. There are inexpensive options for testing and it can all be done in Sterling so you don’t have to drive far. I saw an amazing nurse practitioner at SRMC named Pam Gale and genetics is all she does.
