We reopen Monday 5/11/2020 for normal business. Dr Nored will be working Monday-Wednesday 9 am - 5 pm and Dr McDaniel will be working Wednesday-Thursday 9 am - 5 pm and Friday 9 am - 3 pm. Currently we're not in the office to take phone calls and make appointments. We will answer voicemails as we are able to. Please be patient as we try to prepare to reopen. We will still be requesting patients to wait in their cars upon arrival. Only the patient will be allowed in the office, unless the patient is a minor and needs the parent and/or the patient needs assistance for mobility reasons. Stay healthy! Governor Abbott DID NOT approve the rules and guidelines for dental office openings on 5/1/2020. The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners is having an emergency meeting to revise the plan for them to resubmit to the Governor. STAY TUNED!
Today, the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) adopted an emergency rule and guidelines to safely reopen Texas dental practices. The TSBDE’s action is in response to the Governor’s Executive Order 19 (GA-19) that authorizes dental practices to begin seeing patients on May 1, 2020. TDA advocacy efforts strongly influenced the Governor and his team and the TSBDE to focus on working to safely open dental practices to get Texas dental patients the care they need.
The emergency rule and guidelines must still go to Governor for his approval. The TDA will immediately notify the membership once the Governor’s action is known.
Upon approval by the Governor, dental practices that begin seeing patients on May 1, 2020 and thereafter must adhere to the new emergency guidelines adopted by the TSBDE.
We are having a meeting on Friday to discuss our opening procedures and review the checklist the TSBDE has put in place for safely operating for the safety of our patients and ourselves. Stay tuned for further information!

The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners will meet soon to discuss dental office opening standards and guidelines and notify us accordingly after Governor Abbott's announcement today for dental office potential re-openings. As of right now, our tentative return date is Monday 5/11/2020. We're excited about seeing our dental family and friends and taking care of our amazing patients.
