Matthew D. Gemp, DMD, of Houston, received a pair of undergraduate degrees from Boston College, in biochemistry and economics, before earning his doctor of medical dentistry degree through the University of Pennsylvania, where he was also a member of the Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity. Dr. Gemp went on to serve a couple of residencies, one with Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, and another with the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He worked as chief resident of Prosthodontics at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston before opening his practice.
An international lecturer, Dr. Gemp shares his knowledge of implant restoration techniques and mechanics with dental professionals worldwide. A Peer Review member for over a decade, he’s also an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society and the American College of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Gemp is a member of the nationally recognized Spear Study Club as well as a founding member of DDS Mentoring. Both organizations focus on sharing cutting edge technology with other dental professionals, shaping the evolution of modern dentistry.
