The business was founded in Brea, CA in 1987 and started out as a franchise of Diet Centers. After realizing the people who visited the office had more issues then weight control, Jane Shellhouse returned to school to study alternative medicine practices. After 28 years of being in business in Brea and now in Placentia, CA she has realized the importance of her decision to follow the alternative medicine track. She currently practices in an office with a Chiropractor, Certified Fitness Trainer and Massage Therapist. Blending these three disciplines has made it possible for her clients to be served in a very holistic manner. Ms Shellhouse believes everyone should have a physician so they can go for annual check ups, that might include physicals, blood work ups, mammograms, colonoscopies, etc; keeping in mind that early detection leads to successful cures.
