Juliet Vento, M.D., is an internal medicine physician with Baptist Health Primary Care and a member of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians in multiple specialties integrated within Baptist Health South Florida. She specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of health issues, including the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Vento received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Medicine, in Chicago. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where she received the Intern of the Year award in 2014. Dr. Vento has participated in research investigating the link between Vitamin D deficiency and diabetes, among others. She is also a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
