******IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SATURDAY'S (9/26/20) FLU CLINIC****** Please note that we will have an employee at the waiting room door that will be screening all patients entering the building. If you have an appointment at tomorrow's flu clinic, you will proceed with entering the building for your appointment. You will NOT call us to notify of arrival or wait in your car. This is for this Saturday's flu clinic only. Please remember to complete the e-check in for your appointment.
Even though Dr. Joki is no longer working with us, he has not forgotten us. To help us celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of fall, Dr. Joki sent a shaved ice truck to give our employees a special treat! It was yummy (although a bit of a challenge to eat with a mask on!)!! Thank you, Dr. Joki! We miss you!!
Parents - please note this IMPORTANT change to your child's appointment with our office. Starting Thursday, September 24th, we will now require all patients to wait in their car until they are told to come into the office. Once you arrive at our office, you will call the office to announce that you have arrived. We will check in your child and collect any payments over the phone. You will then be instructed to either come into the office or wait until you are called back to be informed that we are ready for you to enter the building. With this change, it will be critical for you to be registered for our patient portal and complete the e-check in process through the portal for your child's appointment. We appreciate your patience and understanding with this change as we strive to keep you, your child and our staff safe.
Parents - our flu clinics are filling up fast! Our next open flu clinic will be Wednesday, October 7th from 5p-7p. Be sure to call for your child's appointment today!
Our first evening flu clinic turned out great! We were able to provide flu vaccines to a great many of you. Our next evening flu clinic will be next Tuesday, September 22nd from 5p-7p. That clinic is filling up fast with very few appointments left. Our Saturday, September 26th , flu clinic is also filling up nicely. After September 22nd, our next evening flu clinic will be Thursday, October 1st. Book your child's appointment now! (And, don't forget to complete your e-check in for the appointment. You can do that up to 7 days in advance of the appointment.)
It's still nice weather outside and we are enjoying being in the fresh air after working or being in school all day. However, the "bugs" are still around especially with our recent rain. Our office has been seeing an increase in "bug bite" calls and visits. Hopefully, this article will be helpful for our parents seeing those irritating bites.

What? Another change in the check-in process? Parents - I know all of the changes have been challenging....believe us, we know! However, we have implemented another change in the check-in process that should make it even easier for you. It's called the Virtual Waiting Room. About 1.5 to 2 hours prior to your appointment time, you should receive a text advising you to text us when you arrive at the clinic. This text will state "Please reply HERE to let us know once you have arrived......" When you arrive, simply text us back and the system will notify us that you are here for your appointment. Once we have completed the check-in process and a room is ready for you, you will receive another text advising you to come into the building. With the Virtual Waiting Room, it is even more important for you to complete the e-check in process prior to your appointment time. The e-check in process can be completed up to 7 days in advance of your appointment. We think that you will really love this new process and our continued efforts to keep you and your children safe!

Evening flu clinic tonight! Parents - if your child is scheduled for a flu clinic appointment this evening, please proceed into the building at the time of your appointment. You will not need to call us and wait in your car. You will enter on the south side of the building (through the handicap door entrance). We will have a screener located at the door to take your temperature. You will then proceed to the check-in window to check-in for your appointment. Please make sure you and your child are wearing your masks!
As Thanksgiving Day draws near, we urge everyone to limit the size of gatherings and maintain physical distancing with each other especially when eating. Our furry, four-legged friends of the Sit...Stay...Play program have come to our assistance again to demonstrate what we should and shouldn't do when eating with others. Please be safe!
Wearing a mask the proper way is important to ensure the best protection for you and others. But, what is the proper way? Our Sit...Stay...Play facility dogs have helped us out by demonstrating the do's and don'ts of mask wearing. Hopefully, this will bring a smile to your face like it did ours!
Parents - we need your help! With the increase in COVID cases that we are seeing, we need to make sure that we are doing everything possible to keep your child, you and our employees/providers safe. If your child is scheduled for a well check exam and has been diagnosed with COVID, the well check exam will need to be rescheduled, even if they are not experiencing symptoms. If your child has a known exposure to a COVID positive person, there needs to be at least 14 days since their last exposure to that person. If your child has a family member with active COVID, contact our office so we can discuss your specific situation. The timing can be confusing so, when in doubt, give us a call!
